ChargePoint – the largest and most open electric vehicle (EV) charging network – applauds the advancement of AB2565 through the Senate Judiciary Committee. The bill, which would allow a tenant to install an EV charging station in a leased parking lot if the tenant is willing to pay, now heads to the Senate floor. Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative and the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa are partnering to install two electric vehicle charging stations capable of charging four cars at a time at the Bastrop County resort hotel. This is the first partnership between Bluebonnet and one of its members to provide public charging stations for electric vehicles.
