The successful candidate will identify potential site hosts and close agreements with forward thinking business owners that are interested in hosting high speed electric vehicle charging stations on their properties. Responsibilities include analyzing applicability of sites to meet program goals, identifying key decision makers, presenting the value proposition, negotiating site host agreements and closing long term contracts. The right candidate will have the business acumen to quickly learn what makes a property and a site host special along with a passion for changing the way the world travels. The candidate will also work with funding partners such as the California Energy Commission, automobile manufacturers and air quality districts to help secure additional funding and ensure charging locations meet the needs of their programs. Candidates for this position must be excellent communicators at all management levels internally, externally, with partners with local business owners as well as national brands. A proven track record of closing complex deals is a must.
This position is a highly-visible role within ChargePoint and the industry – to develop and bring to market partner-based solutions involving ChargePoint Network. The role requires handling multiple simultaneous partners – including the creation of relationships with engineering, marketing, sales, purchasing/finance, manufacturing, and executives. This role will interact with much of the company as it incubates products, services, and geographies.
This position is a highly-visible role within ChargePoint and the industry – to drive the deployment strategy, plan and execution of ChargePoint’s global expansion to Europe, China, and Rest of World. As the team grows, it is expected this role will manage the team, develop the strategy and deliver on initiatives and key metrics.
The role is responsible for reporting to the head of BD and the executive staff of ChargePoint, and is responsible for delivering agreed global expansion initiatives.
The role will take guidance from the executive management team and Board of Directors, and create market expansion plans for Europe and China (and later for Rest of World). These plans will include and integrate investment funding planning and execution, internal coordination and delivery of functional plans (product roadmap and engineering, go-to-market and sales channels, support and services, manufacturing and operations, management and G&A), entity establishment in expansion territories, setup and knowledge transfer and transition planning and execution.
The position requires that the candidate can pitch and sell ChargePoint’s business model and expansion plan to potential investors (often working alongside ChargePoint management team and Board members) and can credibly represent ChargePoint’s management at executive levels within investors, strategic partners (automotive, high tech, competitors), government & utility (when needed). Presentation, summarization, and closing skills are essential.
The position also requires internal coordination of departments and cross functional team management to prepare functional plans and deliver on these plans. Diplomacy and understanding of all functions within an organization are essential skills.
The role will be pivotal in ChargePoint expanding to new territories and creating a dominant position for ChargePoint in those markets, creating equity value in the hundreds of millions and revenues in the tens of millions within three years of entry to these markets.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for strategically developing sales opportunities for the ChargePoint field sales team. The primary focus will be innovatively generating leads, identified through an educated variety of inbound and outbound approaches, including printed and electronic medium coupled with strong customer interaction. The position will require flexibility in working with the changing environment of a global sales force and the position holder will undertake other duties as assigned.

Nearly 40% of Americans live in condos and apartments and the adoption of EV charging in this market is critical to the evolution of electric vehicles. We are looking for an experienced closer who is not afraid to cold call and is capable of taking a deal from inception to final closing. Experience working in multifamily brokerages, property development, or property management is a plus. We are looking for someone who is comfortable speaking with high end apartment and condominium property owners, asset managers, and property managers. We are looking for a hunter who has the polish and skills to work with a variety of organizations such as REIT’s, developers, and private owners.

If you have experience selling EV charging stations and existing relationships in the industry that would be a major benefit. The Software Engineer (Android) will work on the design, development and maintenance of ChargePoint’s Android App. The Android software engineer will be responsible for crafting a seamless mobile experience that integrates into the lives of the EV users.
ChargePoint is looking for a dynamic individual to manage our warehouse and small volume NPI and RMA facility. She/He will be responsible for the daily planning and execution of ChargePoint’s warehouse and manufacturing lab. This will include managing a team of technicians and operators to accomplish daily logistics, inventory, production, and RMA activities.
ChargePoint is looking for a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to help us with the design and manufacture of our leading edge electric vehicle charging products. This position will work closely with Manufacturing Operations, Hardware Engineering, Quality and Contract Manufacturers to deliver robust products that meet ChargePoint’s manufacturability, cost, quality and delivery objectives. A successful candidate must have proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering of complex systems.

As we expand our business, support of our customers remains a key area of focus. Customer Service Engineers should be outgoing and customer oriented. They should naturally have a desire to learn new skills (including technical skills). Candidates must possess basic computer knowledge including the general use of the internet, email and web based applications via PC and mobile device; excellent written and verbal communications skills; and good problem solving abilities. Candidates should have a solid, verifiable work history which includes prior customer service experience. Call center experience is preferred.
Under general supervision, in a 24/7 in-bound call center environment, Customer Support Engineers will provide administrative and light technical and network problem resolution to end-users (customers) by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions. Solutions include, but are not limited to, account verification and registration, resolving username and password problems, uninstalling/reinstalling basic software applications, verifying proper hardware and software set up, power cycling equipment, assisting with navigating around application menus and troubleshooting email issues. Support will be provided by clearly communicating technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner. Representatives will perform related work as required. This role is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Relocation will not be provided.
In a 24/7 in-bound call center environment, the ChargePoint Customer Support Supervisor will be responsible for a team of Customer Support Representatives. This role will supervise the day to day call center operations, monitor customer interactions and ensure productivity of the CSR’s in support of KPI objectives. This position handles and is expected to protect all internal confidential information and must utilize discretion and judgment based on company polities and procedures.
The Support Services Specialist will interact directly with the Sales team, internal and external customers, operations and maintenance partners and the Services team. The Support Services Specialist must be able to manage multiple customers at a time and be organized to track and report on their status. They should have a desire to learn new skills including technical skills.
The Candidate must maintain excellent communications with the customers, Sales Rep and Services team to assure timely and efficient completion of implementations, issue resolution and escalation, and proper documentation of the entire process to assure successful completion and handoff.
