At ChargePoint, Positive Feedback Helps Us Tackle Big Challenges
I hear from people all the time about how excited they are about what we’re building here at ChargePoint. A couple of weeks ago, I was telling my Uber driver (who was driving a plug-in hybrid) what I did for a living and he became enthusiastic about how important our work is for the planet. In the gym last week, I couldn’t help but smile when I overheard someone telling a friend about the “company putting in all the EV charging around here.” There’s a lot of personal satisfaction in receiving such wonderful feedback. Behind the scenes, though, it’s not always smiles and high fives.
Sometimes our big visions come up against real-world blind spots and we have to reset. Other times we succeed beyond our wildest dreams, but after a quick celebration we get right back at it because we know there is much more to do to quicken the pace to electric mobility. Reinventing the world’s fueling network takes a lot of focused effort, after all. But, time and again, what keeps us coming back to work every day to tackle big challenges—what fuels us—is all that positive feedback from drivers, cities, businesses, utilities and others.
It’s inspiring to hear from EV drivers and other people who are as excited as we are about what we’re doing.
Consider this Tweet from @EpicEVRoadtrip:
But you don’t have to drive your EV across the U.S. to get those butterflies. Heck, these folks didn’t even leave home:
Still others get their EV charging fix at work:
Some folks find their happiness shopping:
While others discover an entirely new motivation to hit the gym:
These guys were more motivated to hit the road:
For some people, it's about getting to see their neighborhood in a brand-new light:
For others, it's all about the firsts:
These folks love that ChargePoint is helping them do their part for the planet:
While these counties are doing it for their communities:

As you can see, folks are excited about ChargePoint for quite a few different reasons. People of all walks of life like that we’re taking on climate change in a big way. Drivers like the convenience of an open network with features that allow them to easily find open charging spots, queue up if none are immediately available and charge when and where it’s least expensive (even if that’s at home). Businesses like that our solutions allow them to easily offer workplace charging as an amenity, helping them attract and retain top talent. Multi-family property owners like that we help them meet building requirements and EV charging demand from residents. Fleets like that our fueling solutions are predictable, reliable and offer a lower cost-per-mile (CPM) than gas. Municipalities like that we provide a cost-effective way to serve citizens and cut greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
And these are just a few of the folks sharing their enthusiasm on social media. Imagine working for a company where, despite the tough challenges, you’re rewarded with praise for a job well done every day. And not just from your employer, but from people around the globe whose lives you’ve touched and who believe so enthusiastically in your work they can’t help but shout it to the world.
If your heart starts racing about the prospect of taking on big challenges in an emerging industry—while receiving positive feedback online, on the street and even at the gym—ChargePoint may just be the career of your dreams. Your life changes today. What are you waiting for?
