Maryland Department of the Environment Electric Corridors Grant Program (ECGP) Round 3 program released roughly $2.25M in competitive funding for Level 3/DC fast chargers along designated NEVI alternative fuel corridors and at charging hubs. Grants will cover up to 80 percent of the cost to buy and install up to three (3) Level 3/DC fast chargers with at least two (2) CCS and one (1) NACs ports. The maximum reimbursement is $150,000 per port for chargers of 175kW per port simultaneously or more and $100,000 per port for chargers of 60kW or more, depending on the location. Applications are evaluated competitively and due by April 18, 2025.
