The Fast Charge California Project (FCCP) is the latest CALeVIP initiative funded by the California Energy Commission and managed by the Center for Sustainable Energy. This program, launching on July 8, 2025, will provide at least $55 million in incentives for the installation of high-power DC fast chargers at publicly accessible sites across California, supporting the state’s commitment to advancing electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. Funding amounts of up to $100,000 per charging port for up to 100% of total project costs will be available for ready-to-build projects statewide. While not required, projects within disadvantaged or low-income communities will be prioritized during the selection process. This program is first-come, first-served and will close September 30, 2025.
