The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) released a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to support the buildout of EV charging infrastructure in the state. Applications are competitive and due December 16, 2024. $1.2 million in funding is available from the FHWA’s Advanced Transportation and Congestion Management Technologies Deployment (ATCMTD) Program. These funds will cover up to 50% of project costs. An interactive map on the program’s website displays the 16 eligible communities where stations can be built. Each community is eligible for one station with a minimum of two DCFCs.
