Arizona

The Residential EVSE Tax Credit (Form 319) provides up to $75 for individuals to install EV charging stations at their homes.

California

Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is offering rebates for electric vehicle charging stations for residents, businesses, and public agencies that are AMP customers. Residents can apply for a rebate of up to $500 for a Level 2 home electric vehicle charger. Buy and install the charger, save receipts, take photos, and then apply online. Receipt must be dated after October 16, 2017. See the website for more details.

The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) and Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC)’s Residential EV Charging Incentive Pilot Program provides up to $250 for the cost of hardware for Level 2 (240V) residential chargers within SCAQMD’s four-county jurisdiction. An additional incentive of up to $250 is available for low-income residents. This offering is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Redding Electric Utility (REU) is offering up to $500 account credit for the cost of installing a home electric vehicle charging station (up to 2). See the REU Residential EV Rebate Application for complete list of terms and conditions.

The Burbank Water and Power (BWP) Electric Vehicle Charging Station Rebate offers rebates of $500 for Level 2 EV chargers. Rebates are limited to one per BWP residential account. Charger must be new and have a purchase and installation date of July 1, 2015 or later. Application must be submitted no later than four months from the date of purchase and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until rebate funds are exhausted.

The Glendale Water & Power EV Rebate Program offers a $500 rebate to single family residents who install a Level 2 charging station. Rebate applications will be accepted subject to availability of funds.

The Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) PEV Charger Rebate Program provides a rebate of up to $400 to PWP residential customers who notify PWP about the purchase or lease of a qualifying EV and install a qualifying Level 2 charger at the address shown on the PWP electric account. Applications for this first-come, first serve rebate opportunity will be accepted until rebate funds have been exhausted.

The Anaheim Public Utilities PEV Charger Rebate Program offers a rebate of up to $500 to customers that install Level 2 chargers at their residence. In addition to the rebate, the City’s permit fees related to the installation of the EV charger will be waived. Rebate applications will be accepted subject to availability of funds.

The Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP) Charge Up L.A.! Program offers rebates for Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations at residential locations. LADWP residential customers are eligible to receive up to $500 toward their out-of-pocket expenses for an EV charging station. The rebate does not cover the cost of installation. Applications must be submitted within six months of EV charger purchase and postmarked no later than June 30, 2018.

Delaware

Delaware Electric Cooperative (DEC) is offering a free ChargePoint Home charging station to qualified customers who have a battery electric vehicle, participate in their load management program, and meet other program requirements. DEC’s offering is subject to availability.

The Delaware Electric Vehicle Charging Supply Equipment Rebate Program offers 50% of the cost of the electric vehicle charging station up to $500 rebate to install Level 2 charging stations for residential customers. The rebate is only available for electric chargers purchased between November 1, 2016 and June 30, 2018.

District of Columbia

Through December 31, 2026, individuals can receive an Income Tax Credit of $1,000 per residential charging station.

Constellation is offering a rebate of $115 when you use BGE HOME to install a ChargePoint Home charging station.  You can also receive an additional $50 rebate, equivalent to over 1,500 free electric miles, for signing up with Constellation as your retail electricity provider.  Read more about the program on Constellation’s EZ-EV website.

Florida

Gulf Power offers a $750 incentive to help plug-in electric vehicle drivers offset the cost to install appropriate plug-in electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This program is limited to the first 1,000 participants and expires on December 31, 2018.

Louisiana

Individuals may receive a state tax credit for up to 36% for the purchase and installation of an electric vehicle charging station. This tax credit effective until June 30, 2018.

Maryland

The Maryland Energy Administration Electric Vehicle Recharging Equipment Rebate Program 2.0 offers a rebate of 40% up to $700 for residential EVSE equipment and installation, starting July 1, 2017. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until rebate funds are exhausted.

Potomac Edison is offering a lease program that covers the installation of a ChargePoint Home charging station in exchange for a low, monthly payment on the electric bill. Read more about the program, Terms and Conditions on First Energy’s website.

Massachusetts

Clearview Energy is offering free EV charging on weekends (from 7 PM on Fridays to 7 AM on Mondays) and a $75 rebate for ChargePoint Home when you sign up for a CLEAR Charge Clearview Energy Plan.

The Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company (MMWEC) and participating Massachusetts municipal light plants are offering free or discounted ChargePoint Home charging stations to those signed up for the Scheduled Charging Program.

Hudson Light and Power Department (HLPD) is offering a residential EV charging rebate for Energy Star certified, networked Level 2 chargers. HLPD customers will receive an account credit of 50% of the project cost up to $250, per calendar year. Customers are required to provide the original receipt, energy guide label, and proof of primary residence where the charger is installed. The program is open until all funds are exhausted.

Michigan

Indiana Michigan Power is offering a $2,500 incentive to offset the cost of installing a home charging station to the first 250 qualified plug-in electric vehicle owners in the Michigan service area. The Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) is offering a $200 EnergyWise incentive for the installation of a residential electric vehicle charging station. The incentive is available for customers in the NPPD service territory or its wholesale customers who purchase an electric vehicle and choose to install a ChargePoint 32 amp WiFi enabled station. Applications for this first-come, first-served funding opportunity will be accepted until funds are exhausted.

Oklahoma

The Alternative Fueling Infrastructure Tax Credit is a one-time income tax credit available through January 1, 2020 to individuals for up to 75% of the cost of an electric vehicle charging station project. Tax credits can be claimed on multiple properties although some restrictions apply.

The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) is offering a limited $200 incentive to customers who purchase or lease a new, qualifying electric vehicle. The incentive is intended to help offset the cost of your charging infrastructure needs, including the purchase of a Level 2 charger or installation costs.
