Coulomb Technologies, the leader in electric vehicle charging station infrastructure, today announced the first networked charging stations for electric vehicles are now available in Canada. The ChargePoint® Networked Charging Stations available for consumer and fleet use are now installed at the headquarters of Rapid Electric Vehicles (REV) in Vancouver. Additionally, Charge Northwest, Coulomb's Pacific Northwest distributor has signed REV as an official reseller in British Columbia of ChargePoint® Networked Charging Stations.


The City of Pleasant Hill announced today that Santa Claus will make a guest appearance in his plug-in Prius as he stops by to charge up at Pleasant Hill City Hall. Pleasant Hill has become the fourth Bay Area city to deploy the ChargePoint® Networked Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles (EV). Manufactured by Coulomb Technologies, the charging stations will be made operational in the city during a special holiday season unveiling ceremony on December 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the City Hall Parking Lot, 100 Gregory Lane.


Coulomb Technologies, the leader in electric vehicle charging station infrastructure, today announced the first networked charging stations for plug-in electric vehicles are available for use in the city of Houston, Texas. The ten charging stations available for consumer and City fleet use are part of a public demonstration project, dubbed the 'Power of the Plug-In', and funded by Reliant Energy one of the largest retail electric providers in Texas. The ten Reliant-provided charging stations will be located around Houston, with public stations at City Hall, the Health Department office at 8000 Stadium Drive and at the Mayor's Citizens Assistance Office at 9615 Rustic Wood, Kingwood. The official unveiling of the charging stations takes place on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 1:00 pm central at Houston City Hall 901 Bagby Street in downtown Houston. Coulomb's South Central U.S. distributor Verdek Corporation provided sales and support for the ChargePoint® Networked Charging Stations installation.


Coulomb Technologies the leader in networked electric vehicle charging stations today announced that Elk Horn, Iowa is the latest city to install Coulomb's ChargePoint® Networked Charging Stations. Sequoia Solar a leading San Diego company in the design, installation, and maintenance of turnkey, grid-connected, solar solutions today announced they will unveil their first networked solar-powered electric vehicle charging station. Powered by a combination of the sun and ChargePoint® Networked Charging Stations, Sequoia plans to extend the ChargePoint® Network and their solar technologies throughout San Diego County. Sequoia Solar will unveil the charging station at Sequoia Solar, 343 South Highway 101, Solana Beach, CA at 2:00pm on November 11, 2009.


This week, Norwegian energy supplier Eidsiva commenced operation of the first 'intelligent' charging station for electric vehicles in Gjøvik (Oppland Province), which is supplied by global market leader Coulomb Technologies. Apart from the one in Gjøvik, Coulomb's European sales partner, the 365 Energy Group, will install another three ChargePoint™ stations in Lillehammer and Hamar.
