- Each online certification exam takes about 90 minutes to complete and consists of 70 multiple-choice questions.
- Both exams cost £110 if purchased at the same time and each of them costs £75 if purchased individually.
- Candidates taking one exam must schedule it within 15 days of purchase, and those taking both must do so within 30 days.

Gain microcredentials in these ChargePoint products:

Add microcredentials to your AC and DC charging certifications and receive the following accreditations:
- ChargePoint-certified technician – upon earning one (AC or DC) certification and at least one micro-credential
- Product specialist – upon completing one certification and all microcredentials for a particular product
- AC EVSE expert – when you become a specialist in all AC charging products
- DC EVSE expert – when you become a specialist in all DC charging products
Each accreditation provides a badge that technicians can display on LinkedIn, websites, business cards and other professional materials.

- All microcredentials consist of e-learning modules and are offered for free on ChargePoint University.
- All microcredentials are available for reference at any point and can be retaken.
- At the end of each module, there will be an assessment that needs to be passed before earning a micro-credential.
Installation microcredentials are open to anyone. You must complete an AC or DC certification to access more courses.
