Coulomb Technologies today announced the first availability of the ChargePoint™ Network for plug-in vehicle owners. Developed to be the world's easiest and yet most advanced vehicle charging infrastructure, the ChargePoint Network is designed to provide drivers of plug-in vehicles convenient, affordable, and safe access to public charging. Subscribers can sign up for options to fit their lifestyle including a limited time offer 'Basic Access' subscription plan, which includes free charging through 2009.

Extending the future of sustainable transportation, Coulomb Technologies today announced they have expanded their reseller program to 28 US states. Resellers throughout the United States are tapped with building the infrastructure rollout for extended range electric vehicles (EREV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and all battery electric vehicles (BEVs). The wide range of infrastructure products are designed to support electric vehicles from automobile manufacturers including General Motors, Toyota, Ford, Mercedes, BMW and Nissan. Coulomb products include networked public chargers in a wide range of powers and sizes that serve both high-end utility and consumer needs. Coulomb will be showcasing their networked charging stations at the EDTA conference December 2 - 4, 2008 at the Washington, DC Convention Center booth 810.

Coulomb Technologies today announced it will provide the first smart charging infrastructure installation base for new and existing alternative fueling stations within California for extended range electric vehicles (EREV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and all battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Largely powered by solar electric panels, these new and existing alternative fueling stations are considered the wave of the future and will sell several types of alternative fuel including ethanol and bio diesel in addition to gasoline. These stations will now include Coulomb Smartlet™ Networked Charging Stations that address the need for fuel in electric vehicles. With dozens of charging station installations and activations scheduled within Q1 2009, the service stations will be located in key metropolitan areas and along the corridors of highways 99 and 101, and Interstate 5 in California with plans to install and activate hundreds more throughout California in 2009.

Coulomb Technologies and V2Green today announced a technology and marketing partnership to create an intelligent charging infrastructure for plug-in vehicles. Coulomb's innovative Smartlet™ Charging Stations and Communications Network provide convenient, easy-to-use charging stations, delivering bi-directional energy metering and user authentication. V2Green's smart grid technology establishes two-way communication between plug-in vehicles and the grid, allowing utilities to control charging behavior in real-time, within parameters set by vehicle owners. By joining forces, Coulomb and V2Green are able to offer a charging infrastructure that is effortless for drivers and responsive to the needs of the grid. Both companies can be seen at the Plug-In 2008 Conference and Exposition July 23 – 24 in San José, Calif.
