How do I switch between business or personal charging in the ChargePoint app?

If your EV charging package includes paid public charging for business purposes, you can select whether a charging session is for business or personal purposes. Your provider will automatically cover the cost for business charging, and you’ll pay for any personal charging.

Here’s how to change between business and personal charging:

  1. Open the ChargePoint app.
  2. Click on your current charging session to see Charging Status.
  3. Select Purpose.
  4. Select Business or Personal for the session as appropriate.

You may need to add payment info to your account to pay for personal charging sessions.
