Why is my payment info requested as part of the sign-up process?

Your credit card details are used to pay for personal charging sessions that are not covered by your employer’s reimbursement policy. Your employer will specify what charging you are reimbursed for, how much and what is considered a personal charging session. Station fees are displayed on the app and on the station, and are set by the station owner, not ChargePoint. If you only use free stations, you’ll never be charged. You can always enter or change your payment info later on.
