ON EV ChargeON 2025

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s 2025 EV ChargeON program supports the installation of public EV charging stations in Ontario communities to reduce range anxiety, improve coverage, and enable long-distance EV travel. The program provides 25–75% of eligible expenses for Level 2 and DCFC through post-construction rebates. Eligible locations include any sites open to the general public within the Province of Ontario. The Program is open to eligible public and private sector applicants. Federal, provincial, or territorial governments, and their respective ministries, departments, entities, agencies, and Crown corporations are NOT eligible for funding. The program has $67M in funds for public charging and $25M for municipalities or public section locations. Applications open on November 3, 2025, and are due on December 15, 2025.
