The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is now accepting applications for the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program (EVIP). This funding supports the installation of Level 2 stations and DC fast chargers (DCFC) in public places, workplaces, multi-unit residential buildings, and light-duty fleet use across the Northwest Territories. Funding amounts include up to $7,500 for Level 2 chargers and up to $99,999 for DCFC. There is $400,000 in funding available for this program. Applications are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until March 31, 2026, or until funding is fully subscribed.
