The PEI Electric Vehicle Charging Funding Program (PEI EVCF Program) provides funding for businesses, non-profits, and other organizations to install commercial EV chargers in public parking areas, workplaces, light-duty vehicle fleet parking, and designated multi-unit residential buildings (MURBs) in PEI. Available funding supports up to 75% of eligible costs with a maximum of $7,500 per Level 2 port (connector), up to $75,000 per 50 kW and above DC fast charger. Each EVCF application will be limited to 20 chargers or less, and $100,000. Funding is limited and is first come, first served. Funding comes from a mix of Government of PEI and NRCan sources. Rebates must be for new installation or the expansion of existing installation, not for the replacement of an existing installation.
