Can I get an invoice or receipt for my charging session?
Yes. You can get an invoice or receipt for any charging session, whether you have a ChargePoint account or paid for the session as a guest. The new app makes account-holder receipts and monthly statements much easier to access.
If you charged at a station with your ChargePoint driver account using Tap to Charge, your ChargePoint app or ChargePoint card:
- Open the ChargePoint app and tap the Activity tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Find the session you want a receipt for and tap it. The session detail screen shows date, time, kWh, cost breakdown, payment method and station address.
- Tap the Share icon to send the receipt as PDF via email, message, AirDrop or print.
- For a full month of activity, scroll to the bottom of Activity and tap See Monthly Statements. Pick a month - it opens in the in-app browser and can be shared as PDF from the Share button.
To enable automatic receipts after every session, navigate to Account > Notifications > Public Charging and turn on Receipt ready.
If you charged on a ChargePoint station using a roaming partner RFID card:
For roaming sessions, your e-mobility service provider defines the terms and prices of charging and also issues the receipt for you. Please contact your service provider if a receipt for your session is needed.
If you charged at a ChargePoint station using a credit or debit card:
Your receipt can be downloaded at https://driver.chargepoint.com/search-receipts. Please have the details of your payment card ready to verify that the receipt is yours.
Note: Some of our larger partner operators in Europe, including Instavolt, EG Group and EV Point, will provide receipts via their own websites.
If you charged at a ChargePoint station using Apple Pay or Google Pay:

If you used a domestic European debit card, such as Girocard, Pinpas or carte bleue:
Our automatic system can only fetch receipts for such cards if they have a 16-digit, credit card–style card number. If your card has such a number, the same instructions apply as for credit and debit cards. If not, please reach out to Driver Support for assistance. Have the exact amount that was billed to you ready, as well as the date and approximate time of charging in order to identify your receipt correctly.
