Marketing Operations Manager - Europe

Electric vehicles (EVs) are going mainstream, disrupting the way cars have been powered for more than a century. ChargePoint is at the center of this revolution, operating the largest and most open EV charging network in the world, with over 42,000 independently owned charging spots that are easy for EV drivers to find and use.

ChargePoint is leading the development of this new fueling network, where EV drivers meet charging stations and businesses of all kinds benefit: workplaces, retail and hospitality, commercial and residential properties and fleets. ChargePoint is the market leader for EV charging in the US and has recently announced the entry into the European market with the goal of expand its global leadership position. We are looking for an experienced marketing operations manager to help us build out our B2B and B2C marketing infrastructure and operations in Europe. This is an opportunity to support game-changing marketing initiatives that are rooted in digital and social and span a broad range of audiences including decision makers, influencers and partners inside and outside the company. The marketing operation manager Europe will execute acquisition and engagement marketing campaigns across all lines of business. The scope will stretch from helping us architect the right operational infrastructure and building out our database of customers and prospects to executing high-impact marketing campaigns while ensuring compliance with all relevant privacy laws and regulations in the EU. The individual will be the voice of Europe with regards to everything related to marketing operations and will function as the key liaison to the marketing operations team at corporate headquarters in the US.

As the EV market continues to grow—more than 40% globally last year—we’re turning our focus toward enabling the shift to e-mobility in more places.

In 2016, Europe passed 500,000 EVs on the market and is the number two market potential after China. EV and hybrid sales are expected to grow by more than 400% through 2021. This growth is fueled by a number of factors:

• All major Auto OEMs have committed to an electric future, and the variety and quality of EVs are making them a popular choice for drivers
• EV range is increasing while prices are decreasing
• Governments concerned about greenhouse gas emissions have identified EV adoption as a critical strategy, with more than 20 EU countries offering large subsidies and tax incentives to EV buyers
• Urban mobility trends create a need for smart cities, connected and autonomous experiences, in which electric platforms will play a major role

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for strategically developing sales opportunities for the ChargePoint field sales team. The primary focus will be innovatively generating leads, identified through an educated variety of inbound and outbound approaches, including printed and electronic medium coupled with strong customer interaction. The position will require flexibility in working with the changing environment of a global sales force and the position holder will undertake other duties as assigned.

Customer Support Engineer - Netherlands

As we expand our business into Europe, support of our customers remains a key area of focus. Customer Service Engineers should have a balance of being outgoing and customer oriented, with technical proficiency in networking and/or electrical engineering. They should naturally have a desire to learn new skills with emerging products. Candidates must possess computer knowledge including the general use of the internet, email and web based applications via PC and mobile device, excellent written and verbal communications skills, a background in either networking or electrical engineering, and good problem solving abilities. Candidates should have a solid, verifiable work history which includes prior customer service experience. In addition to the above expectations candidates will need to be able to be fluent in English as well as either German, French, or Dutch.

Finance Director, EMEA

As Finance Director at ChargePoint, you will be part of an international, fast growing company that is expanding globally. Since ChargePoint is setting up European headquarters in Amsterdam, a Finance Director will be appointed to be in charge of all new financial activities. In this position, you will get the opportunity to release your inner entrepreneurial spirit and be part of the establishment of a new European headquarters in Amsterdam.

The position may start with identifying regional offices and developing a finance function as well as establish current practices in all accounting activities. From then onward you will fulfill a key position in developing and designing relevant management reports, will be actively involved by further cooperating with the international subsidiaries, advise the management team with complex finance cases and you participate in operational and strategic decision-making. This position is a highly-visible role within ChargePoint and the industry – to develop a strategic investor relationship and grow it into a multi-million Euro and beyond revenue account. The Business Development Manager - Automotive is responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple work streams and activities between ChargePoint and its strategic customer, and requires handling numerous revenue opportunities both from a hardware and software perspective across various partner divisions and geographies

In this critical automotive role, you will nurture Auto OEM relationships. You will have a successful track record and relevant experience building relationships with automotive OEMs or working at an automotive OEM. If you have experience in the EV Charging space and developed existing relationships in the industry that would be a major benefit. In this role building relationships with the automotive OEMs that have EVs in the market or launching EVs is critical but we are looking for someone with experience to be able to identify sales opportunities (workplace, dealer, development, home, or other) and working opportunities to closure. ChargePoint is seeking an Applications Engineer to work with strategic partners and customers to build applications that leverage our technology in industry changing ways. The Applications Engineer will work directly with Product Management and Engineering to drive the direction of our products in order to support these key initiatives. The DC EVSE Field Engineer will interface with internal and external customers to aid in the planning, deployment, and maintenance of “big power” DC electric vehicle fast chargers. DC fast charging systems employ low loss AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion systems in the range of 1 kW to 500 kW and output voltages as high as 1 kV. This position requires the unique combination of customer interfacing skills required to respond and correct reported outages of EV charging equipment, with the skills and certifications required of a licensed journeyman electrician. The ideal candidate can interface with customers and engineering experts to aid in the design and deployment of DC Fast Charger systems, install, repair, and maintain EV charging stations. From time-to-time the DC EV Field Engineer will perform work on transformers, generators, lights, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions. Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequencing of installations.
