• Governments concerned about greenhouse gas emissions have identified EV adoption as a critical strategy, with more than 20 EU countries offering large subsidies and tax incentives to EV buyers
• Urban mobility trends create a need for smart cities, connected and autonomous experiences, in which electric platforms will play a major role

These factors mean the timing is right for ChargePoint to build an e-mobility ecosystem in Europe that works for both drivers and businesses. It’s no surprise that the substantial EV market penetration across countries has led to the proliferation of dozens of EV charging providers. Unfortunately, this has created a fragmented experience in Europe for EV drivers that complicates everyday life with an EV and compromises the region’s ability to transition to an all-electric future.

We’re teaming up with forward-thinking leaders like Daimler, BMW and others to deliver our proven, comprehensive solutions including hardware, cloud services and a mobile app in Europe. These come together in a new fueling network that enables drivers to easily charge wherever they go (home, work, road trips) and businesses to attract employees and customers with valuable EV charging as an amenity.

You must be able to thrive in a fast paced sales environment, be creative, independent, focused and an excellent problem solver.

Country Manager - UK & Ireland

At ChargePoint, our mission is to transform transportation by enabling everyone to drive electric. For nearly ten years, we’ve been perfecting a full range of EV charging solutions and deepening our understanding of the EV driving experience with a focus on North American markets, where we lead across all categories. As the EV market continues to grow—more than 40% globally last year—we’re turning our focus toward enabling the shift to e-mobility in more places.

In 2016, Europe passed 500,000 EVs on the market and is the number two market potential after China. EV and hybrid sales are expected to grow by more than 400% through 2021. This growth is fueled by a number of factors:

• All major Auto OEMs have committed to an electric future, and the variety and quality of EVs are making them a popular choice for drivers
• EV range is increasing while prices are decreasing
• Governments concerned about greenhouse gas emissions have identified EV adoption as a critical strategy, with more than 20 EU countries offering large subsidies and tax incentives to EV buyers
