Alternative Fueling Facilities Program (AFFP)

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has funding available through its Alternative Fueling Facilities Program (AFFP) for 2025. Eligible applicants include individuals, state and local governments, corporations, or any other legal entity. Charging stations open to the public will be considered for funding before private ones and all sites must fall within a Clean Transportation Zone. Applicants will be evaluated competitively and are due January 20, 2026.
