The Washington State Department of Commerce (Commerce) has $19.4 million in funding available through their Washington Electric Vehicle Charging Program (WAEVCP) for multi-family residential, publicly accessible, fleet, and workplace charging projects. Standard funding for Level 2 projects is up to $12,500 per port while DC fast charging (DCFC) projects may receive up to $150,000 per port. There is a minimum award requirement of $20,000 and a maximum award of $5 million per applicant. Funding is also available for both Site Design project and Innovation projects on a per-applicant basis. This is a competitive solicitation and applications may be submitted via an online portal starting October 6, 2025 until December 18, 2025.
