McDonald's Corporation, the leading global foodservice retailer, and NovaCharge, a leader in the deployment of EV charging infrastructure, today announced the deployment of electric vehicle charging stations. McDonald's will open the first 'green' restaurant, built with eco-friendly materials and technologies, including ChargePoint™ Networked Charging Stations for electric vehicles from Coulomb Technologies, making it the first of its kind in the United States.


Coulomb Technologies today announced that the County of Sonoma, CA has become the fourth Bay Area location to deploy their ChargePoint™ Networked Charging Stations for electric vehicles. The seven charging stations are now installed throughout the County and will be used for fleet and consumer use. Along with several regional partners, the Sonoma County has applied for grant funding to install up to 200 additional stations in the next two years. Coulomb's charging stations will be officially unveiled to the public in a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 9:00am at Sonoma County Hall of Justice (600 Administration Drive) in Santa Rosa, CA. The EV stations are at the extreme east end, adjacent to Ventura Ave.




365-Energy today announced that the Katholieke High School of Limburg (KHLim) will deploy ChargePoint™ Networked Charging stations from the world leading infrastructure manufacturer Coulomb Technologies as part of the first European Clean Mobility Center in Belgium. Coulomb's international partner 365-Energy (www.365-energy.com) will provide the charging stations and manage the ChargePoint Network for subscribers. KHLim's CO2 neutral area produces its own green energy through wind, heat and solar. KHLim also has its own energy grid to which the ChargePoint charging stations are connected.



365-Energy Group today announced that the city of Amsterdam has selected the ChargePoint Networked Charging Stations of world leading infrastructure provider Coulomb Technologies to fuel the electrical cars in the city. The 45 charging stations are part of a two-year public demonstration project. The City of Amsterdam plans to deploy 200 charging stations before 2012, and the charging stations are expected to fuel 10,000 electric cars in 2015. Leading energy company Nuon will provide renewable energy for the charging stations and Coulomb's international partner 365-Energy (www.365-energy.com) will manage the ChargePoint Network for subscribers.
