NY 2025 Municipal ZEV Infrastructure Grant

A total of $5 million for municipalities is available on a first-come, first-served basis through the New York 2025 Municipal ZEV Infrastructure Grant program to support the installation of Level 2 (min. 7.2kW ) and DCFC EV chargers. A municipality may apply for multiple stations in multiple locations; however, the maximum award amount for any one facility (location) is $250,000, and to any one municipality, (for multiple locations) is $500,000. There is no minimum award amount. The maximum award for EVSE placed in a disadvantaged community census tract is $300,000 for one facility. Funding cannot be combined with NYSERDA Charge Ready funding. All contracts over $25,000 will be assessed for MWBE goals. Application deadline is February 27, 2026.
