Ohio incentive

Industry:

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has funding currently available for public DC fast charging (DCFC) through their NEVI Round 3 Program. Any location statewide is eligible, but each applicant is required to apply with a minimum of four sites. Each site must have four (4) CCS ports capable of delivering a minimum tiered power standard depending on the site location:
For EVSE within a 2.5-mile driving distance from the end of an AFC exit ramp or intersection, each DCFC charging port must be able to continuously and simultaneously provide at least 150 kW to charging vehicles.
For EVSE proposed in other areas of the state that are not along AFCs, each DCFC charging port must be able to continuously and simultaneously provide at least 100 kW to charging vehicles.
Awardees may receive up to 80% of total eligible project costs; a minimum 20% match is required. Applications are due by February 5, 2026.
