Xcel Energy offers two options for commercial customers in New Mexico looking to install EV charging infrastructure at their site. With the EV Supply Infrastructure (EVSI) Program, Xcel Energy will manage the design, installation, and maintenance of the site, offering a lower upfront cost for customers. Rebates for Level 2 and DC fast chargers (DCFC) range from $1,500 - $39,000.
For customers looking to manage all aspects of the project and total upfront cost, Xcel Energy offers a rebate for public DCFC from $35,000 - $105,000 based on charger output. This rebate is stackable with public funding.
The site must be located within Xcel Energy's New Mexico service territory and be an active Xcel Energy electric customer.
