California’s MyFirstEV instant rebate

California’s MyFirstEV instant rebate program provides first-time zero-emission vehicle buyers $3,500 off an eligible new ZEV or $1,750 off a used one. Rebates are available at the dealership for Hyundai, Lucid, Tesla, Ford, Rivian, Chevrolet, Kia, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, and Subaru. Vehicles must be model year 2026 and newer. For non-California headquartered OEMs, new vehicles must have an MSRP of $50,000 or less. Used vehicles must have a purchase price of $25,000 or less, be at least two model years older than the year of purchase, and may only be purchased from manufacturers as certified pre‑owned vehicles. The incentive will be available in 2026-2027 until funding runs out.
