Charge Up Fairfax in Fairfax County, Virginia offers incentives for the installation of Level 2 EV charging stations to homeowner or condominium owners associations, nonprofit recreational association or organization, nonprofit energy efficiency or energy efficiency service organizations, nonprofit association or organization furnishing services to beautify or maintain communities to prevent deterioration, and charitable institutions or associations, including organizations with a religious status that will use such funds to provide community services for secular purposes located in Fairfax County. There are three tracks for applications – (1) Grant-Only reimbursement program, (2) Fairfax County Full-Service Program, or (3) full service Charge Up Fairfax in Combination with Dominion Energy Level 2 Program. Incentive amounts vary depending on program but range from $8,000 to $12,000 per site depending on program and equity considerations. Grants will be awarded on a reimbursable basis after the EVSE is installed and operational. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
