The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet KY VW 2026 Level 2 DCFC Rebate program has funding available to install Level 2 and DC fast charging (DCFC) projects in KY. There is $3.1M in funding to install publicly available DCFC at any public site in Kentucky. Funding limits are up to 50% of the acquisition, installation, and O&M costs. Eligible DCFC must deliver over 50 kW - ChargePoint CP250s, CPE280s, and EXPP are all eligible. There is $375,000 available for Level 2 projects at public places, workplaces, or multi-unit dwellings across the Commonwealth. Each Level 2 project may receive a maximum reimbursement of 50% of total project costs up to $25,000. Funding will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for complete applications and will remain available until funds are exhausted.
