Maine Public Level 2 EV Chargers

Efficiency Maine Trust is offering $2.3M to install and operate public Level 2 EV chargers at multifamily, business, and public properties. Funding covers up to 80% of total eligible project costs up to $12,000 per networked Level 2 port. The maximum incentive is $120,000 per site. Business corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and limited liability partnerships in good standing with Maine are eligible to apply. Projects must be physically located in Maine with priority to specific municipalities. Proposals are accepted from March 3, 2026, through March 3, 2027, or until funding is exhausted, whichever comes first. Efficiency Maine will review proposals and announce awards monthly.
