Minnesota NEVI Round 3a

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) NEVI Round 3a program provides $41 million in federal NEVI Formula Program funding for the deployment of DC fast charging infrastructure across 74 eligible cluster locations on U.S. and state highways statewide. Funding covers up to 80% of eligible project costs for NEVI-compliant stations with a minimum of 4 DCFC ports at 150 kW each, requiring both NACS and CCS1 connectors. Eligible applicants include businesses, utilities, non-profits, government entities, Tribal Nations, and teaming partnerships. Applications are due November 2, 2026. No applicant may receive more than 30% of total federal funds available.
