The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality Diesel Emissions Mitigation Grant Program provides approximately $8 million in annual funding from the Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust to support businesses, governments, and equipment owners in replacing, repowering, or retrofitting older diesel vehicles and equipment with cleaner technologies, including zero-emission alternatives. Reimbursement funding ranges from 25% to 100% of eligible project costs depending on project type and ownership. EV charging infrastructure is eligible as part of vehicle replacement projects.
