Utah Clean Fleet Program

The Utah Department of Environmental Quality offers incentives for public and private fleet owners to decrease vehicle emissions through their Clean Fleet Program. Funding is available to acquire new electric vehicles and associated infrastructure, or to replace older Class 5-8 diesel vehicles with cleaner alternatives. Fleet owners may receive up to 90% reimbursement of costs, depending on the vehicle’s operational criteria, new vehicle/equipment fuel type, and participation in scrapping an older diesel vehicle/equipment. Applicants may be reimbursed for up to 100% of eligible project costs for Level 2 EV chargers. This program is currently open and accepting new applications.
