How do I get help inside the ChargePoint app (Chatbot and Help section)?

The redesigned ChargePoint app includes a dedicated Help. In addition to that, we have an in-app Chatbot that gives guided answers to commonly asked driver questions without having to leaving the app. Both features are designed to resolve issues faster and escalate to live support only when needed.

To access help, complete the following steps:

  • Open the ChargePoint app and tap Account in the bottom navigation bar.
  • Tap Help to access the following
    • Public Charging FAQ: A curated list of the most common driver questions.
    • Contact Us: Email and 24/7 phone support (1-888-758-4389); pre-filled with your account details so that support can help faster.
    • Chatbot: An in-app assistant for guided help.

The Chatbot can help with the following:

  • How to start and stop a charging session (Tap to Charge, RFID, etc.)
  • Station questions (compatibility, Omni Port, NACS, restricted access, etc.)
  • Pricing and billing (receipts, monthly statements, station fees, etc.)
  • General app FAQs (filters, photos, widgets, Open Beta, Connections, etc.)
