The Colorado Energy Office (CEO) provides grant funding for community-based Level 2 and DC fast charging projects through their Charge Ahead Colorado program. CEO provides up to 80% of eligible costs for standard projects and up to 90% of eligible costs for projects in disproportionately impacted communities. Charge Ahead Colorado has three (3) standard application funding rounds per year – in January, May and September – and projects with six (6) or fewer Level 2 ports can apply anytime year-round through the rolling application.
Winter applications will be accepted starting January 12, 2026 through February 13, 2026.
