The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) has funding available for DC fast charger (DCFC) installation through their Charge Up Kansas NEVI Program. KDOT has identified several priority areas along Alternative Fuel Corridors within the state for DCFC sites. The NEVI Call for Projects is a two-step process where applicants must submit a required Project Interest Form to become eligible to submit an official response to the forthcoming Request for Proposals in June 2026. Project Interest Forms must be submitted via an online portal by Friday, May 15, 2026.
