The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) has $9.6 million in funding available through the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) for the installation, operation, and maintenance of DC fast chargers (DCFC) within 1 travel mile of a designated Alternative Fuel Corridor in the District of Columbia (Washington D.C.). Eligible entities include organizations, businesses, or property owners. Each site must have a minimum of four (4) 150kW+ DC fast chargers and be available 24/7/365 to the public. An additional demand charge incentive of up to 100% of Pepco’s delivery distribution demand charges incurred, up to a cap of $100,000, is available for the 5-year operational term. This is a competitive solicitation, and applications are due on May 26, 2026.
