DE NEVI Round 2

Delaware incentive

Industry:

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has approximately $8M in funding available for the NEVI Community Charging Funding Opportunity Round 2, which supports projects that deploy EVSE at publicly accessible, community-focused locations statewide — including parking facilities at public buildings, schools, parks, and privately managed sites serving local communities, with priority given to areas with multifamily housing and limited access to private overnight charging. Sites along designated Alternative Fuel Corridors (AFCs) must have at least four DCFC ports capable of simultaneously delivering 150kW; all other sites must have at least four network-connected ports (DCFC, AC Level 2, or a combination). Prospective vendors may apply for up to 80% federal cost share for eligible project costs, with a minimum 20% match from non-federal sources. Proposals are due via the DelDOT Bonfire Procurement Portal by August 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET.
