Washington State Department of Transportation has funding available for zero-emission transit projects through the Green Transportation Capital Grant Program. Any transit agency in Washington state is considered an eligible applicant and supported projects include transit vehicle electrification, construction of charging stations to support fleet electrification, system upgrades, and more. Selected applicants may receive up to 80-100% in funding depending on the agency’s operating budget. This solicitation will be open from June 16, 2026 to August 18, 2026 and applications will be competitively scored.
