Maryland NEVI Round 3

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) released $10M in funding through NEVI Round 3 to design, construct, operate, and maintain publicly accessible 150kW+ DC fast charging (DCFC) stations. Each site must have a minimum of four CCS ports. Proposed sites must be located within one of the designated Target Areas AND must be within a 3-mile driving distance of the designated highways. Applicants can receive up to 80% of the eligible project costs and can apply for multiple sites. Applications are due on June 24, 2026.
