ME CFI Public Level 2

Efficiency Maine is offering $9.6 million to install and operate public Level 2 (CP6000 FHWA) chargers at multifamily, business, and public properties. Efficiency Maine will reimburse awardees under this RFP up to 80% of total eligible project costs up to $200,000 per site. A minimum of four ports per site is required. Charger projects must be physically located in Maine, and the municipalities listed in section 3.1 of the RFP are the highest priority. Buy America, Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, ADA, and DBE requirements apply. Applications are due by December 3, 2026, or until funding is exhausted, whichever comes first. Efficiency Maine will review proposals and announce awards monthly.
