MEA FY26 Commercial EVSE Rebate Program

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) currently has $1 million in funding available Level 2 charger projects through their FY26 EV Supply Equipment Rebate Program for commercial and multifamily properties. Eligible applicants include Maryland businesses, LLCs, and incorporated non-profits, as well as state and local government entities. Commercial rebates cover up to 50% of eligible project costs or up to $5,000 towards equipment and installation costs for a Level 2 charger. Chargers must be located in non-residential places of business and can be public or private; multifamily housing projects must be located in a common area. This is a first-come, first-served program and applications will be accepted until June 1, 2026, or until all funds are expended.
