NJ BPU MHD EV Charging Program 2026

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJ BPU) is offering $10M in funding to purchase public DC fast chargers for MDHD fleets through its Medium- and Heavy-Duty Electric Vehicle Charging Program (MHD EV Charging Program) 2026. BPU will provide reimbursement of up $225,000 per DC charger, which must be publicly available to MDHD fleet EVs. Applicants must be located in or primarily operating in a NJ Overburdened Community. Applications will be evaluated competitively and are due May 31, 2026.
