The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities’ (NJBPU) MUD EV Charger Incentive Program has up to $23M available for grants of up to $4,000 to owners and operators of Multi-Unit Dwellings (MUDs) toward the purchase of a dual-port, networked Level 2 EV charging station and $6,000 toward the purchase of a Level 2 EV charging station for an MUD located in an Overburdened Municipality or in a 100% deed restricted low and/or moderate-income development. Eligible costs include the cost of the charger, taxes, delivery and activation fees and charger warranty. EVSE must be located in parking spaces accessible to all residents (may be accessible to visitors). Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds are expended.
