The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) announces $17.3 million in funding available through the Medium/Heavy-Duty Zero-Emission Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Program. This competitive program seeks to deploy DC fast chargers (DCFC), AC Level 2 chargers, and Megawatt charging infrastructure to support medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles along the I-5 and I-84 corridors in Oregon. Each project site must provide at least 3 MW of nameplate capacity with a minimum of four CCS1 DCFC ports. ODOT will cover up to 70% of eligible project costs, with applicants providing a minimum 30% match share. Eligible applicants include private entities, public agencies, Tribal Nations, and nonprofit organizations. This is a competitive solicitation and applications are due October 30, 2026.
