VDOT's Phase 2 NEVI Requestion for Applications

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has $22.7M available through NEVI Formula Program Phase 2 Statewide Charging Station Deployment to support the installation, operation, and maintenance of NEVI-compliant EV charging stations across Rural, Corridor, and Urban zones statewide - including sites along existing Alternative Fuel Corridors, corridors of statewide significance, and urban and rural areas where charging gaps remain. All proposed sites must include a minimum of four ports capable of continuous charging at 150 kW concurrently. Awards provide up to 80% federal reimbursement of eligible project costs, with no maximum award amount, for projects that include a commitment to operate and maintain the station for at least five years from initial operation. Applications are due by September 28, 2026 at 6:00 PM ET.
