Arizona

California

Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is offering rebates for electric vehicle charging stations for residents, businesses, and public agencies that are AMP customers. Residents can apply for a rebate of up to $500 for a ChargePoint Home. AMP also offers a $15/month utility bill rebate for agreeing to charge overnight only. Receipt must be dated after October 16, 2017. 

Southern California Edison Charge Ready Home Installation Rebate Program is offering residential customers rebates of up to $1,500 toward their out-of-pocket costs for the electrical upgrades and permitting fees necessary to allow installation of a Level 2 (240-volt) EV charging station. The rebate does not cover the cost of the charging stations, but it will help cover the cost of installing and permitting the charging station. Application must be submitted no later than six months from the date of purchase and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until rebate funds are exhausted.

Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) Charge Up LA! is offering rebates of up to $500 for the purchase of a qualified Level 2 (240-volt) charger. LADWP also offers special rate plans for charging EVs. Applications for this first-come, first-served rebate opportunity will be accepted until rebate funds have been exhausted.

The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) and Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC)’s Residential EV Charging Incentive Pilot Program provides up to $250 for the cost of hardware for Level 2 (240V) residential chargers within SCAQMD’s four-county jurisdiction. An additional incentive of up to $250 is available for low-income residents. This offering is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Redding Electric Utility (REU) is offering up to $500 account credit for the cost of installing a ChargePoint Home (up to 2). See the REU Residential EV Rebate Application for complete list of terms and conditions.

The Burbank Water and Power (BWP) Electric Vehicle Charging Station Rebate offers rebates of $500 for ChargePoint Home. Rebates are limited to one per BWP residential account. Charger must be new and have a purchase and installation date of July 1, 2015 or later. Application must be submitted no later than four months from the date of purchase and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until rebate funds are exhausted.

The Glendale Water & Power EV Rebate Program offers a $500 rebate to single family residents who install a ChargePoint Home. Rebate applications will be accepted subject to availability of funds.

The Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) PEV Charger Rebate Program provides a rebate of up to $400 to PWP residential customers who notify PWP about the purchase or lease of a qualifying EV and install a ChargePoint Home at the address shown on the PWP electric account. Applications for this first-come, first serve rebate opportunity will be accepted until rebate funds have been exhausted.

The Anaheim Public Utilities PEV Charger Rebate Program offers a rebate of up to $500 to customers that install a ChargePoint Home at their residence. In addition to the rebate, the City’s permit fees related to the installation of the EV charger will be waived. Rebate applications will be accepted subject to availability of funds.

Delaware

Delaware Electric Cooperative (DEC) is offering a free ChargePoint Home to qualified customers who have a battery electric vehicle, participate in their load management program, and meet other program requirements. DEC’s offering is subject to availability.

District of Columbia

Through December 31, 2026, individuals can receive an Income Tax Credit of $1,000 per ChargePoint Home.

Constellation is offering a rebate of $115 when you use BGE HOME to install a ChargePoint Home.  You can also receive an additional $50 rebate, equivalent to over 1,500 free electric miles, for signing up with Constellation as your retail electricity provider.

Florida

Gulf Power offers a $750 incentive to help plug-in electric vehicle drivers offset the cost to install a ChargePoint Home. This program is limited to the first 1,000 participants and expires on December 31, 2018.

Individuals may receive a state tax credit for up to 36% for the purchase and installation of an electric vehicle charging station. This tax credit effective until June 30, 2018.

Maryland

The Maryland Energy Administration Electric Vehicle Recharging Equipment Rebate Program 2.0 offers a rebate of 40% up to $700 for a ChargePoint Home and installation, starting July 1, 2017. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until rebate funds are exhausted.

Potomac Edison is offering a lease program that covers the installation of a ChargePoint Home in exchange for a low, monthly payment on the electric bill. 

EZ-EV is offering a $100 rebate on the purchase and installation of a ChargePoint Home. 

Clearview Energy is offering free EV charging on weekends (from 7 PM on Fridays to 7 AM on Mondays) and a $75 rebate for ChargePoint Home when you sign up for a CLEAR Charge Clearview Energy Plan.

Massachusetts

Clearview Energy is offering free EV charging on weekends (from 7 PM on Fridays to 7 AM on Mondays) and a $75 rebate for ChargePoint Home when you sign up for a CLEAR Charge Clearview Energy Plan.

The Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company (MMWEC) and participating Massachusetts municipal light plants are offering free or discounted ChargePoint Home stations to those signed up for the Scheduled Charging Program.

Hudson Light and Power Department (HLPD) is offering a residential EV charging rebate for a ChargePoint Home. HLPD customers will receive an account credit of 50% of the project cost up to $250, per calendar year. The program is open until all funds are exhausted. 

Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD), serving the towns of Reading, North Reading, Wilmington, and Lynnfield Center in MA, is offering a rebate of 100% of equipment costs up to $500 for networked residential charging station.

Minnesota

Xcel Energy’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Service Pilot Program offers 100 residential customers an easier, more affordable way to get charged up at home. Residents can choose a ChargePoint Home charger, decide how they want to pay (prepay or spread over monthly bills), and Xcel Energy completes the installation and provides a low-cost EV pricing plan for overnight charging. Requirements include owning or leasing an EV, owning a single family home, and having access to Wi-Fi.

Nebraska

Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) is offering a $500 rebate on ChargePoint Home to OPPD customers. OPPD is also offering a $4,500 rebate for the purchase and lease of an electric vehicle as well as a ChargePoint Home charging station.

Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) is offering a $200 EnergyWise incentive for the installation of a ChargePoint Home. The incentive is available for customers in the NPPD service territory or its wholesale customers who purchase an electric vehicle and choose to install a ChargePoint 32 amp WiFi enabled station. Applications for this first-come, first-served funding opportunity will be accepted until funds are exhausted.

The City of Columbus Residential EV Charger Rebate Program offers $500 rebate per ChargePoint Home. Rebates will be based on fund availability and issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ohio Edison is offering a lease program that covers the installation of a ChargePoint Home in exchange for a low, monthly payment on the electric bill.

IGS is partnering with Smart Columbus to provide electric vehicle buyers in Central Ohio with a $750 value towards the installation of their ChargePoint Home once they sign up for our 36-month go green™ fixed rate electricity product.

Oklahoma

The Alternative Fueling Infrastructure Tax Credit is a one-time income tax credit available through January 1, 2020 to individuals for up to 75% of the cost of a ChargePoint Home. Tax credits can be claimed on multiple properties although some restrictions apply.

The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) is offering a limited $200 incentive to customers who purchase or lease a new, qualifying electric vehicle.
