How do I use Siri with the ChargePoint app?

The new ChargePoint app does not support Siri shortcuts. If you previously set up Add to Siri phrases in the legacy app, those shortcuts will no longer trigger actions in the new app as soon as you update.

Here is what has changed:

The Add to Siri option has been removed from the new app. You will not see it when searching for a station in the Chargers or At Home tab.

What you can use instead:

  • Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets: Get charging status, nearby stations info, waitlist position and Home Charger info with a single glance. For more information, see How do I set up widgets with the ChargePoint app?.
  • CarPlay: Connect your iPhone to your car using CarPlay, browse nearby stations and view your current session in-vehicle.
  • Tap to Charge: Tap your iPhone (Apple Pay via Adyen) or your RFID card to a ChargePoint station to start a session instantly; no app interaction needed.
  • In-app Chatbot: Navigate Account > Help and use the Chatbot for guided answers on start and stop charging, station questions, pricing, billing, etc.
