How do I create a ChargePoint account?

To sign up for a free ChargePoint account, complete the following steps:

• Download and open the ChargePoint app.
• Enter your basic information on the Create account screen, accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and hit Next to continue.

• Fill out the Add payment screen (or skip it).

  Tip: When you create a free account, you can provide payment info (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal) so that you will be ready to charge wherever you go.

• You can start a charge anytime with the station details in the ChargePoint app. Request a ChargePoint card during sign-up if you need one as a backup.
• Tell us what car you drive in the EV information section. This helps us estimate how long it will take to charge your car and allow you to filter by stations that work for your EV.
• Choose how you want to get updates about charging in the Notifications section.
• That's it! Now you can find places to charge wherever you go.
