How do I know how much driving range is available?

To find your EV’s driving range, refer to your vehicle manual. To see how much range you have remaining on your current charge, check the dashboard of your EV.

Alternatively, if your vehicle supports Smart Car Integration, you can view your EV's current state of charge (SOC) and remaining range directly in the ChargePoint Driver App.

To enable Smartcar Integration, complete the following steps:

• Log in to the ChargePoint Driver App and navigate to Account > My EV.
• Tap Connect Vehicle and choose your automaker.
• Sign in with your vehicle account credentials and authorize ChargePoint to read the vehicle battery and location data.

Once paired, your EV's SOC, remaining range and location appear on the My EV screen and feed into Route Planning.

Note: Remaining range estimates vary with temperature, terrain, speed and HVAC use. Treat any range number as an estimate, not as a guarantee.
