What is the service fee?

Starting in March, we will begin rolling out a Service Fee on certain paid charging sessions. This helps us provide a reliable, high-quality experience as the EV ecosystem grows by enabling us to:

  • Improve station reliability and fund investments in driver support to ensure you get a charge whenever you need it.
  • Continue delivering in a premium experience.

We know that every charging session is important to your daily life, and we take that responsibility seriously. We acknowledge and understand that rising costs are a growing concern, and we’ve designed this fee structure to be as fair as possible while supporting the reliable, accessible charging experience you expect.

  • ChargePoint account holders: $0.25 (AC) / $0.49 (DC)

    These fee amounts apply to drivers who initiate sessions using the ChargePoint app, an RFID card, or vehicle-based authentication. We encourage you to open a free ChargePoint account via our mobile app to take advantage of these discounted fee amounts.

  • Guests/anonymous users: $0.49 (AC) / $0.99 (DC)

    These fee amounts apply to drivers who initiate sessions through other means, including using a credit/debit card to pay for charging where applicable.
