The CA Energy Commission (CEC) is offering $79M in funding to purchase and install EV charging infrastructure for medium- and heavy-duty (MHD) corridor charging through GFO-25-606 California’s National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program - Solicitation 5 (South). CEC will provide reimbursement of up 80% per project, up to $8M. Projects must be in southern CA, along a CA Alternative Fuel Corridor (AFC), and support MHD charging at a minimum of 3 MW per site. Applications will be evaluated competitively and are due May 7, 2026.
