The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJ BPU) is offering rebates for local and state governments and nonprofits to purchase L2 and DC fast chargers through its Clean Fleet EV Incentive Program. NJ BPU will provide reimbursement of up to $4,000 per fleet L2 charger, up to $5,000 per fleet L2 charger available to the public, up to $5,000 for the make-ready for each L2 charger, and up to $50,000 for the make-ready for each DC charger. DCFC incentives vary depending on kW level falling between $50,000 and $180,000. Applications are being accepted now on a first-come, first-served basis.
